Joey Mervis

Video Editor

Based in New York City, Joey sits at a unique intersection of music, theatre, and video editing. Currently studying at New York University, he is a seasoned video editor, director, and producer – with 8 years of professional experience.

 

On Joey’s 8th birthday, his grandparents gave him a present: a year of weekly lessons at the Apple Store. Eager to learn and create, Joey soaked up everything he could and began his passionate journey into the world of technology and video editing.

 

Highlights from Joey’s video experience include the Summer Stock Stage #VirtualPerformances series, NYU’s Inside the Virtual Classroom series, and the North Central High School Lip Dub – which amassed over 200k views, raised +$22k for pediatric cancer research, and garnered attention from Good Morning America.

Michael Berg Raunick

Music Supervisor

Michael Berg Raunick is in his seventh year as choral director at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Raunick is a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and holds a master’s degree from Butler University.

 

He is responsible for 4 choirs at North Central including the nationally recognized concert/show choir, the Counterpoints. His arrangements and compositions for show choir and concert choir have been performed by choirs throughout the country. He also composed an original musical titled Welcome to College that is performed every summer as part of orientation programming at Indiana University – Bloomington. 

 

Mr. Raunick lives with his wife Cara and daughter Ruth in Indianapolis.

In the spring of 2020, amidst public shutdowns and social distancing, it became clear that artists of all disciplines needed new spaces to create and inspire. Riverbend Production Co. was created to fill that void and provide a simple path to professional, inspiring virtual performances.

Isaac Mervis

Audio Engineer

Isaac is a recent graduate of Davidson College, where he double majored in Music and Education. He has a variety of experience with video and audio production, working with a cappella groups, church choirs, and solo musicians. He is excited to be a part of the Riverbend Production Co. team to help bring these unique performances to life.

Hailey Kragelj

Intern

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Hailey has spent the past four years at the University of Southern California earning bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and Narrative Studies, with a minor in Psychology & Law.

 

While at USC, she served for two years as the Vice President of Brand New Theatre, a company committed to producing new works, during which time she produced two one act festivals and two full-length shows. She is also a playwright and lighting designer. She is excited to take her love for live performance and work alongside Riverbend to help translate it onto the screen.
